Hello again everyone,
Welcome to your weekly update from the SWP!

SWP Branch Meeting

This week's meeting is on Rosa Luxemburg and the Mass Strike. On a day when teachers in large sections of the country will be on strike, the CWU and FBU are about to be striking, and in the aftermath of a political and successful strike at Hovis, what did Luxemburg say about the mass strike? What lessons can revolutionaries apply today? Come along for a talk and lively discussion!

Thursday 17th October, 7 pm, West End Community Centre.

People's Assembly Launch Event
Derby People's Assembly are holding their launch event on Saturday 26th October – see below for more details. It is a packed day and the SWP supports the People's Assembly in trying to build a fightback against austerity; it will be an important day for all comrades.
