Weekly Update #50

Hello everyone,
This is our first weekly update of 2015 - if you're against racism, sexism, homophobia, austerity, inequality, exploitation and the capitalist system which produces them, we need you, and you need us. Join us!

Branch Meetings

In the aftermath of the killings in Paris the right are attempting to whip up Islamophobia. How should socialists respond? The SWP Central Committee has produced a statement, which you can read here:
http://socialistworker.co.uk/art/39705/Socialist+Workers+Party+statement+on+Paris+killings

Our meeting this week has been changed from the one advertised in Socialist Worker to reflect last week's events.

The following week we will be talking about a related issue which anyone who lives in Britain will be aware of: how immigration is used by powerful groups to divide workers and provide scapegoats for problems caused by the rich.

All meetings are at the West End Community Centre, Mackworth Road, Derby. All welcome - see you there! (map below)
